Teach English & Extra-curricular Courses to Local Kids & Adults
Protect Sea Turtles at Reserva Romelia
National Park Service at Cabo Blanco
Proyecto Montezuma accepts global volunteers who are ready to work and play hard!

Our volunteers teach, share their talents, explore the area sustainably and impact the community in positive ways. We accept volunteers to help teach English classes and extra-curricular courses and to work on our current environmental clean-up and instructional project. Our volunteers can initiate unique extra-curricular courses for local school children and adults. For example, previous volunteers have taught Art, Music, Yoga, Gardening and more excellent extra-curricular courses. We encourage, support and provide you with all needed teaching materials as you share your talents and foster positive cultural exchange with local people. In addition to working hard, our volunteers play hard too. We offer Volunteer Programs that include Surf School, Spanish Immersion Courses, Sustainable tours/excursions and Scuba Diving Certification. Be sure to check out all of Proyecto Montezuma’s Programs to satisfy the conscientious traveler in you!
As a volunteer with Proyecto Montezuma, you foster positive cultural exchange and will learn a lot about Costa Rican culture and about yourself.
SAVE SEA TURTLES NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
In addition to our volunteer teaching programs, we organize volunteers in environmental programs around the area striving to preserve sea turtles at Reserva Romelia and work maintaining the local flora and fauna at Cabo Blanco National Park. The sea turtle program has been an incredible success! In partnership with ASVO, Proyecto Montezuma offers volunteers the unique chance to personally impact the reproduction of endangered sea turtles: Olive Ridley, Leatherback and the Green Turtle. Volunteers construct and maintain a nursery and record much-needed data to support future preservation efforts. Your help to secure the future of these incredible species is desperately needed. Also, you can work at Cabo Blanco Absolute Reserve to construct and maintain trails, protect species of native flora and fauna and instruct area tourists about the beauty of this unique dry forest.
Proyecto Montezuma strives to offer tourist a unique and meaningful travel experience in Montezuma’s beach paradise. Please contact us to learn more about how you can Travel Like You Care!
